This summer, join Kate Shema from Createria Studios as she leads a whole summer's worth of awesome art adventures during the Coppell Arts Center Children's Summer Art Camps! Every week explores a new theme: Animal Kingdom, Famous Artists, Tropcial Paradise, Magical Creatures, and Wildcard Art Camp. Get creative with cool materials - paint, clay, felt, and more. Let's get creative!

Monday, July 28 - Rizzi-Inspired City Faces
- Kids will construct 3D city buildings using cardboard and then add Rizzi-esque faces and details to create a vibrant, playful cityscape. The project focuses on bold colors, cartoonish features, and a sense of joyful chaos, much like James Rizzi's artwork.
Tuesday, July 29 - Personalized PEZ Dispenser Revolution
- Redesign and decorate your own unique PEZ dispenser using clay! Students will transform ordinary dispensers into extraordinary works of art, adding personalized details and imaginative designs.
Wednesday, July 30 - Axolotl Cuddly Companion
- Sew a soft and squishy axolotl plushie using felt and stuffing! Students will learn basic sewing techniques to create their own adorable aquatic friend. This craft may be more difficult for younger students. Please use your discretion when registering your student or plan to sit with your child for the duration of the class.
Thursday, July 31 - Robot's Whimsical Adventure
- Design and paint a whimsical robot on canvas, letting your imagination take flight! Students will create their own unique robots, complete with colorful details and futuristic flair.
Friday, August 1 - Personalized Art Pen Creations
- Craft your own personalized art pens using Model Magic clay! Students will design and sculpt unique pen covers, adding their own personal touch to their custom writing utensil.
Participants are asked to bring a water bottle and a healthy snack (optional), comfortable clothes that can get messy, and a big imagination! Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up soon and let the fun begin!
Please purchase 1 ticket per child. Class tickets can be purchased individually by the day OR a full week can be purchased as a package.
All class materials are included with the ticket purchase. Parents are welcome to drop off their child or stay during the class in the Arts Center in the Vari Studio Workspace.
No experience is necessary. Classes are available to children ages 6 to 12.
* NOTE: A parent or guardian must be present to sign their child in and out for each class.
